It was a thing when I was younger but I was past my teens already then(42 today). Before all negative backlash with the murders and the movie who was maybe too late.

Today we have the backrooms, SCP mythos with all it’s different supernatural creatures.
That works better.

But heck I heared rumor of a new Blair Witch movie in the make so guess classic goes well if it offers something new aswell.
