The panacea of Survival Horrors up until 3. Every other entry after that made me dislike the franchise more and more, specially Homecomming and Downpour, horrendous games. I do not blame KONAMI USA entirely, The Room was made by Team Silent and its a bad scort mission game, good ideas but they made 4 stages and in order to extend the game you have to do each of them twice? Sorry but no, when you compare it with other Survival Horror that spawned at the end PS2 life, The Room is utter shit, when you compare it with another SH games its even worse.
All that said, the Konami usa entries are worse than The Room.

Been a while since your last Broken Silence piece so good job.

Funny thing is, I’ve played all the games even the ones on cellphones and yet I personally feel less of a fan somehow. I mean I didn’t even realize it was 15 years since the first game was out. Gosh I was playing it for a friend of mine the other day and he loathed the graphics.

But this loose term of biggest fan and true fan and whatever term there to be used are just words. We can all agree that we love Silent Hill and that’s what matters.

Now grandpa is gonna go to sleep XD

There was a beloved franchise here… It’s gone now.

I adored the Team Silent entries. I would go wild for a true, respectful HD version of the original series.

As a Silent Hill fan since the very first game, those memories of the opening moments, through the dark alleyway, are forever burned into my mind. The game had its claws in me and I couldn’t go back, I could never go back, even if I wanted to.

I hope the series can find itself again. I’ll be waiting for it… in our special place. Because I don’t think I can ever escape from the call of Silent Hill.
