I understand the point you’re trying to make about giving Book of Memories a chance, & i’m always open with games crossing new territories, but BOM just doesn’t appeal to me at all, regardless of it being a SH game or not.

Silent Hill has lost most of its audience and it’s a waste of time trying to win the stubborn doubters back. The Vita suffers from a small library of games, so gamers looking to stave off buyer’s remorse will get this to justify their handheld. They’ll see monsters and scenery and think “I’d like to see more of this,” and they’ll turn to the other (real) games of the series to satisfy that craving. Now the series will have at least mildly replenished its audience, which would warrant more games.

No, I won’t be buying this, but I’m glad it’s coming out.

WayForward makes the kind of games that end up way better than you’d expect them to be, generally.
They made Aliens: Infestation (DS), Mighty Switch Force (3DS), Bloodrayne Betrayal (PSN, Live), Contra 4 (DS) and Thor: God of Thunder (DS) among others. That Thor game in particular was a pleasant surprise. They’ve got the whole side-scrolling action-adventure thing down, we’ll just have to see how they handle a more-sophisticated approach (at least visually).

One thing that disappointed me though,mainly my own fault:)

In the first news of BOM I saw a guy playing a James looking guy,did know of the customable char.

Plus with a title like Book of Memories.

I immidiatly though we could play all protaganist from each SH in the same game.

AWSOME! Finally be able to play Harry and Heather in the same game:)

Which proved to be wrong so was little disappointed:)

But pretty cool too create ones own char want to create my own troubled goth chick or Eddie wannabe:)

But the whole revamp in voices did it for me,I will surly miss Heather’s original voice as I still consider as for today is the best peformance portraying a young teen,will have to wait too see if Elle in Last of Us changes that cus like her voice actress to of her previous work.

But also thought some voices needed change so interested in how the rest not yet heard will sound like.

Like if Angela sound more too her age.

By the way anyone knows if Laura’s voice is changed too or if its the original voice for both versions of SH2?

Also a reason I have no 3ds yet,I have RE Revelation ;P but more for my RE collection and 3ds is my last resort if it not ported.

One reason to get VITA perhaps is if RER is ported to Vita and I could get 2 games on 1 console but still I would be hesitant.

I wait and hope those games get ported for psn so I can get a little graphical update and all at the same time.

3ds in general is not a big deal for me,my eyesight sucks so cant benefit from it much anyway its a big 3d blur for me ;P

So if RER is later ported to PSN with higher texture is fine with me same goes for Book of memories.

If not RER ported too Vita then just maybe a Vita Console.
